Photo Contest Results

Thank you to everybody who participated in the Fall/Winter photo contest held by Sunnyside Acres Heritage Society (SAHS) over the past few months. It was our first time hosting this competition and the number of entries that we received exceeded our expectations.


We would also like to offer our gratitude to the photo contest sponsors and everybody else who offered their support in running this competition. These sponsors include Dunia Tozy from Love 2 Media, local artist Arnim Roeske (Instagram @arnimroeske), City of Surrey Parks and Recreation, Staples, London Drugs - Peninsula Village, and London Drugs - Morgan Crossing. The judge of our youth competition was Dunia Tozy from Love 2 Media, and the judge of our adult entries was Lynne Kelman from Crescent Beach Photography Club.


In mid-February, there was a Photo Walk through the forest, which again received a good turnout and positive feedback. Unfortunately, we were unable to host the planned photo contest reception. However, our winners were still able to receive their prizes. The winners for the adult category of the competition are as follows:

Thank you again to everyone who entered and supported our photo contest! We received a lot of amazing photographs and were delighted to hear about the adventures of both newcomers and regulars in Sunnyside Acres Urban Forest.
